200 LinkedIn Connections Equal 5 Million Professionals

It has not been that long since I joined LinkedIn.com, in the short time I have been able to build a network of 200 connections that link me to 5,557,400 business professionals.  The stats show that my LinkedIn Profile has been viewed 15 times in the last 30 days.

LinkedIn Profile

That might not seem like much, but considering I only spend about 20-30 minutes a week building my network, answering questions and even asking questions, it really can not hurt and who knows what type of connection it may lead to.

I can not say that I have actually had any business from my efforts thus far, but I have learned several things from reading the questions and answers sections.  I even did a few poll type questions that benefited the way I market my business.

I was able to make one great connection with a guy who planned a marketing blitz across the lower part of the United States starting in Florida and making his way to Texas.  This guy and his team of marketers rented a big RV and visited various businesses, handing out literature for their business and anyone that sent them stuff to pass out.

Being in promotional products I sent him 500 Custom Printed Highlighters with the Bizarre Promotions, Inc. logo, website and phone number.  All 500 Highlighters were passed out to countless prospects across the country.  This was a hugh promotional opportunity for me to expose my business to companies that I would never have access to.  So that alone has made my experiences with LinkedIn a priceless opportunity to network for pretty much nothing.

If you’d like to connect – visit my LinkedIn Profile and use my email address ( tim <@> promostuff4u.com ) and invite me to connect.

To Your Success!
