Give-a-Way or Promotion?

Promotional products are used mostly as Give-A-Way’s, but the real marketers get it and use promotional products to create a promotion.

Here is a great example of an effective promotion that generated new business.

Marketer: A construction company that specializes in Cement and Asphalt Driveways and Parking Lots.

Goal: Generate new business as cost effectively as possible.

Promotional Item Used: Rubber Duck, imprinted with “Call Right Now To Solve Your Puddle Problems” ABC Construction – Free Estimates

Strategy: On rainy days the entire sales staff armed with Rubber Ducks, head out in-search of Parking Lots and Driveways that had standing water “Puddles” – placing 2 to 4 Rubber Ducks in each puddle.

The results were staggering, phones were ringing, appointments made, estimates were given and business was closed, i.e. Money Was Made!

So don’t just use promotional products as giveaway’s – generate a promotion that gets attention and the reaction you want, more business.
