If you are using Facebook for business and your goal it to simply get as many friends as possible you are truly missing the opportunity boat that Facebook has to offer. Getting lots of friends is not a bad thing, but it’s what you do with them or how you interact with them that matters.
Your goal should be to help every single one of your friends in any way you can with no strings, Give, Give and Give some more. In being interested first and foremost you will build a following of loyal friends and business associates that will go out of their way to help you in return and you will not even have to ask.
It does not take much time or effort to help just one Facebook Friend everyday. Let them know you are interested in helping them in anyway you can, ask questions about their business, connect them with prospects or fill any void you can find. What ever it is, make an effort everyday to help (Pick On) a Facebook Friend.
Here are a two simple examples of questions you could post on a friends wall to stimulate conversation and generate some interest among your network and your networks network.
An ideal scenario would be to have several others chime in with comments, which then exposes both you and your friend to all of their friends and so on. This will hopefully spark some interest in your friends business and lead to new friends for both of you.
