Simple Text Ads Get More Clicks

In a study conducted on consumer preference when it comes to online advertising shows that simple text ads are the most popular and successful forms of adverting on the net.
- 25% of respondents more likely to click on simple text ads
- 20% for right banner ads
- 12% for top banner ads
- 11% for video ads
I find video ads to be very annoying, but they are being coming more and more popular as they move into the top forms of online advertising. Video ads are more of a branding tool verse simple text and banner ads. If done right, short and sweet in my opinion – video ads will more than likely fall into the 2nd most popular form of advertising online.
