T-shirt Backed Detergent Promotion

A recent promotional campaign for Breeze Excel Ultimate Detergent was launched by the publicity agency Lowe out of Bangkok to show the recipients first hand the benefits of their new product.
To prove how powerful this new product really is, a box with a sample of the product was mailed out. Sounds like a regular old product mailing, but the spin cycle on this mailing was simple – they wrapped the box with a basic white t-shirt.

You guessed it the t-shirt was not so white when it arrived at the recipient’s home, and what better way to test the product first hand. This was so clever, the t-shirt wrapped box grabs your attention and gets your curiosity going – making you tear into the package to see what the heck is in side.
I would surely try the product on the dirty shirt – which was the intent of the promotion, grab the consumer and make them take action – then impress the shirt off them and gain their trust in your product – which will lead to sales.
