Two Bizarre Changes

I have always sent email blasts (Bizarre Friday Blast) on Friday, I have found that about 10% of the subscribers actually open the emails and of those that open the emails only 10% click on one of the links within the email.

We after week I really feel disappointed that more people who have asked to receive my information are not even opening the emails. So I started researching some emarketing guru techniques and found that Friday’s and Monday’s are the worst days to distribute email blasts.

I am now going to send the Bizarre Blast’s on Wednesdays, this should increase the open and click through ratios, I hope.

You will now find a new RSS feed link to the Bizarre Promotions Blog (on the top of the sidebar). I am using a free service called FeedBurner, a leading provider of media distribution and audience engagement services for blogs and RSS feeds. Their Web-based tools help bloggers, podcasters and commercial publishers promote, deliver and profit from their content on the Web.

FeedBurner also offers the largest feed and blog advertising network that brings together an unprecedented caliber of content aggregated from the world’s most recognized media companies (e.g. Wall Street Journal Online, Wired News, Ziff Davis), A-list bloggers and blog networks and individual publishers from around the world.
