Year End Business Tax Deductions
By Tim Somers on Dec 1, 2008 in Featured, General
Disclaimer – I am NOT an accountant or tax lawyer, you should seek a professional for advice on your business or self-employment taxes and related deductions. You can also visit the IRS Small Business and Self-Employed Tax Center Website.
The IRS site lists items that businesses are allowed to deduct on their tax returns. Embroidered Shirts and other logo apparel and business gifts up to $25 per recipient are deductible.
Again I can’t stress enough the need to consult a tax professional about your return. If you have been on the fence about spending money on corporate gifts this year you really should consider purchasing promotional products with your company logo printed on them. A business gift up to $25 is deductable, plus you get advertising exposure for your business all while thanking your customers for their business this year.
